And now for something completely different.

Updated: Feb 21

Well, maybe not completely different. Being that I've only really worked from walk-in or street shops before, a private studio will be a bit of an adjustment.

When I first stepped into Strega Rose, I was made to feel welcome and at home. I couldn't believe how similarly set up this studio is to the way I envisioned what I would do with my own studio. Alas, being that there's no way for me to bring that to fruition at the moment, I will certainly embrace the experience of creating in this beautiful space.

So if you haven't looked it up yet...

I'm very excited to get to work alongside Shane Nicholetti, the owner/operator and currently sole tattoo artist at Strega Rose. Shane's wife Kimberly is an Ayurvedic Practitioner and focuses on health and wellness as well as being an LVT. Together they opened this studio in 2021 and have been holding strong while searching for other potential artists. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled upon this opportunity. :)

The year is 2024 and I've been tattooing since March of 1992... I'll let you do the math. But even at this point in my career, I have new things to learn. A change in scenery can help keep the water in motion in the snow-globe of my mind, as can working with new and different artists. I hope to be as much of an inspiration as I am inspired by others. I'm nearly giddy.

A new location will also come with a handful of new and different policies which I intend to adhere to. When in Rome and all that jazz.

These specifics are all on the Strega Rose website and will also be mirrored on SharpTattoos.com as soon as I get my location and booking pages restructured. If you haven't done so already, please check it out. There will be small differences as far as appointments, consultations, deposits, cancellations and rescheduling. It's all fairly typical to common industry standards.

Being that the studio is closed on Mondays, my days off will most likely shift from Tuesday/Wednesday to Monday/Tuesday. This way I can spend days off with my family and friends.

This is a big step for me. I'm extremely excited to share it with all of you. A new adventure begins, February 2nd, 2024!
