Arrivals and Departures... (an opinion)

Over the past few years, I've had many people ask me if they could get a loved ones death date tattooed on them. I always answer "You can tattoo anything on your body that you see fit."

But my own opinion wonders, why just that date? It’s so… final. And most likely, it’s a reminder tied to pain and loss. It’s an end date. I can't help but think, what about all the days that came before that? So many really GOOD days where precious time was spent together…

Hourglass on sandy ground, cosmic sky with pink and blue hues. Stars and clouds create a dreamy, timeless atmosphere.

If there was an end, there had to be a beginning… a birth date. A start date. A whole life lived within the space of a dash. I’d honor that lifetime... not just the date it stopped.

Just a suggestion.
