All things must change...

The world is changing and so we must. One of the most difficult things for me has always been pricing my work. Due to rising costs of life, tools, and supplies, and just basic inflation, our prices are adjusting as well.

Since 2009 our hourly rate was held at $140 per hour with a half-hour minimum of $70. In 2020 with the rise in prices of gloves, paper towels, and other products, we had no choice but to raise our prices to $160 per hour with a minimum of 80. But inflation keeps marching and so we do what we have to do. As of June 1st, 2023- All the work that I currently have in progress, large by-the-hour pieces, will remain at the $160 rate until their completion. Once those are finished, the new rate will be $180 per hour with a half-hour minimum of $90.

If we're working on a large, hourly piece and I have not seen you in a year or more, the new rate will be applied.

  • As always, a non-refundable deposit of the minimum is required to book an appointment.

  • And, as always, if you need to reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance so that I can rearrange my schedule.

  • And of course, if you're sick, please don't come in. Just give me a call at the shop and I can reschedule you. 631-648-9430
