| A tattoo is a lifelong
commitment and one of the highest forms of self expression.
I care about your new artwork as much as you do. I put
my heart and soul into each piece I do. I will always
do my best to help you find the perfect design whether
its one from a collection of flash or one that you bring
with you. Give me an idea and I'll be happy to design
something unique, just for you. I can turn almost anything
into a tattoo, from designs on t-shirts, posters, keychains,
necklaces and more! Being openminded is key
when you are looking for Body Art. Because this isn't
'just a tattoo', it
is art. |
I stand by my work 100%. If the
tattoo fades or becomes spotty, rest assured that I
will touch it up for you at no additional cost within
three months of getting the
tattoo.. (If you're not happy, I'm not happy.)
This does not mean you don't need to take care of it.
Most of the time I can tell if a tattoo has been mistreated.
A serious collector will do everything in their power
to preserve their tattoo. |
|
Pricing |
All too often price becomes a big
issue. Too big. Most
of the time a person will go out and spend more on clothes
that they will wear for a year than they will spend
on art that is permanently inscribed on their bodies.
Many tattoos are too detailed to shrink to fit a budget.
A tattoo is everlasting. Is it too much to pay once
for a quality piece that will last a lifetime? Aren't
you worth it? I will work with you as much as possible,
even if it means many short sessions. I don't mind.
:) |
*If
you think your tattoo artist is charging
too much, look at the quality
of the work. Shop around and judge strictly on a quality/price
basis. If he or she is doing
the best work you've found, that tattoo will
be well worth the money you spend. I've covered a
lot of shoddy work that was
done at a very low price, so remember that a
really cheap tattoo may be an expensive nightmare in
disguise.* |
A cheap tattoo
is not good, and a good tattoo is not cheap. The bitterness
of a poor-quality tattoo will linger
long after the sweetness of a cheap price
is forgotten... |
|
Size
and Placement |
Before
investing in this lifetime commitment, take into consideration
that your tattoo will age along with you...
as a rule, bigger is always
better if you're going to want a lot of detail. Sometimes
detail can be sacrificed to work smaller, but in doing
this the impact of the piece is usually sacrificed as
well. |
The
impact of the piece can be amplified not only by details,
but also by it's placement on the body. Let the piece
suit the place, in other words. :) Sometiems even the
most fantastic design can look a bit "off"
or if the placement isn't well thought out along with
the design. |

Before
You Get A Tattoo |
Let's
Talk |
If you are looking for custom work,
be prepared. I am not a mind-reader, but I will pick
your brain to find the piece that compliments you, your
personality, and the message you want to express on
your skin. You have the basic ideas for your very own
custom piece inside your head. I tend to grasp ideas
fairly easily and will do my best to adapt them to your
liking. Let's sit down and talk. If you have objects
or pictures you would like to include in your piece
please bring them along. Nearly anything can be turned
into a tattoo. |
I'm an artist before I
am a tattoo artist, ink and flesh are just an alternative
medium. Yes I do draw, that's why I work in this field.
Each tattoo that walks out the door has my name on it
(if it's my work, it is my name, I do not sign my tattoos)
I will not work below my standards for the sake of money.
I am willing to work in many different styles. I enjoy
doing custom work and I am always up for a challenge.
Together we will format your ideas and
make them flow with your body.
|
Remember,
I am only limited by your
imagination and open-mindedness. |

Preparing
for your Appointment |
Getting
tattooed can take a lot out
of the body. You
can help yourself before you even get in the chair. |
Please
wear something loose and comfortable, easily
accessible to the area you're having tattooed. Also,
make sure you're dressed to sweat. Even if it's cold
out, it's possible to get overheated while getting tattooed.
This can be very uncomfortable. It may be easier for
you to dress in layers so that if you get too hot you
can take something off to cool down. Tattoo ink, stencils
and blood can stain clothing. Wear
something old so you don't have to worry about
possibly getting it ruined. |
Remember
to eat a good meal about
an hour beforehand! This is where most people go wrong.
Most people believe that eating and nervousness can
make them nauseous... nothing could be further from
the truth. Eating has a calming affect and gives your
stomach something to do besides gnaw away at itself.
Eating also helps to stabilize your sugar level. Like
I said, tattooing can take a lot out of the body...
it's possible for your sugar level to drop quickly
so you may also want to bring along a soda or juice,
even a lollipop to keep things under control. If ever
you do feel overheated, lightheaded, dizzy or nauseous
you should let your tattoo artist know immediately.
Water is always good to have on hand... dehydration
isn't fun.
|
Don't
work yourself up. It doesn't do you any good. It only
ups your stress level and adrenaline. This makes more
people prone to passing out. Relax... It'll be over
before you know it. Focus on the end result, that's
what you're here for. Make this an experience you'll
want to remember forever. :) |
