| Copying
or referencing my art: |
I
realize that many artists learn from others
art... and that's fine. If you recreate my art
or use it for inspiration and plan on posting
it online, please give credit where credit is
due (©Stacey Sharp) and please, post a
link to http://www.sharptattoos.com. |
If
you're learning from re-drawing my work, I really
don't mind, but it's still my work. You're not
creating the drawing from scratch, you're using
my work as a reference... my anatomy, my composition,
my colors, my art... and just because you 'adjusted'
or 'eyeballed' it doesn't make it yours. Yes,
you drew it, but mine remains the original. |
Computer
programs are fun to play with but changing colors
of my art in a computer program does not give
you the right to call that artwork your own.
|
Don't
trace my image and then claim it as your own.
It's not yours. If you do this, eventually it
will get back to me. Keep it offline or give
me credit. That's simple and much more respectable.

Using
my artwork for tattoos is considered personal
use... |
Most
of the designs and drawings in my art gallery
will one day be tattoo flash. This means they
will be available online and all over the world.
If you like a piece of my art and would like
to have it tattooed on you, make sure you customize/personalize
it so that you have something that is unique
to you. Something that makes it special... more
personal to you. |
*By
artwork I mean the art in the art
gallery, not tattoos that have already been
rendered on someone else. Many of the tattoos
in my gallery are custom, one-of-a-kind pieces
and should stay that way. Use them for inspiration
only.* |

Resale
of my art: And lets be very clear on this...
Mass producing
or selling ANYTHING with my art on it, including
tattoo flash, is forbidden (aside from my art
being reproduced as tattoos...) without obtaining
permission from me in a written agreement/contract
first! |
